With over 15 years of combined editorial experience, we provide proofreading, editing, and writing services for a wide variety of documents and publications. Why Green Ink?

Jen came up with the name for Green Ink Edits. When she was a high school student, she had one teacher who always marked her students’ papers with a green pen. After a lifetime of seeing nothing but red ink correcting their mistakes, the students were curious as to why she chose green. Her response struck a chord with Jen: red means stop; green means go. She didn’t want her students to see their mistakes as stopping points or deal-breakers. She wanted them to see mistakes as opportunities to keep moving forward, learning more, and improving their skills. When Jen was a teacher, she also always graded in green ink. We like the message it sends.
