Proud to be a natural born editor.

I spent the first 10 years of my career as an editor with a leading legal publisher, working on various state and federal legal codes and court rules texts for my employer while pursuing more creative endeavors in my free time. I quickly became project lead for multiple high-revenue state codes and have worked tirelessly ever since to bring current, accurate information to customers. I am well attuned to deadlines, extremely well-organized, and a natural born editor – able to look at a typed page and find its flaws in an instant!

Although it wasn’t an easy decision to step away from a career that spanned just over a decade and in which I was a respected and valued member of the organization, I am very excited to be joining my wife in Green Ink Edits to build our own business here in Charlottesville, Virginia. I have already enjoyed success on several projects and quickly become comfortable in the freelance environment. I have a strong customer focus and minute attention to detail. I have also served as a technical writer as part of my many editorial duties, so I am well-versed in both writing and editing clear, concise language.
